(More customer reviews)i've agonized over this purchase because i bought the other captivate charger (the amzer) and it was junk. this is a samsung product (as best i can tell) and comes with an official battery. i already had a spare, so now i have 3. as much as i love this phone, it does chew thru batteries (i average about 6 hours on a charge).
what i wanted was a way to charge the batteries that were not in my phone, and i wasn't really able to tell that this product did it. turns out it does - you can put the spare battery in it and it will charge. only downside, it doesn't offer much for the battery in your phone, so you'll need to plug the phone in separately.
not the end of the world, and it does what i want, but just wanted people to know this before they bought it. the "stand" is clever, but doesn't really do anything for you other than hold your phone up (i'm used to bberry chargers that hold the phone up and charge). as long as it charges in roughly the same amount of time the phone takes to charge, i'm good with it. i'll report back after using it for a week or so
