I bought this battery for my wife's Razr. Her original battery had lasted more than five years, and it now couldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours. When I saw this great deal on a new OEM Motorola battery, I thought I would surprise her by replacing her old battery.
She charged the battery for 24 hours. A day later she asked me if I had bought a used battery. Why? It would not hold a charge for more than 5 hours. Think this is a new battery? I think not! It was worse than her original battery that was more than 5 years old.
So I bit the bullet and bought a new battery directly through Motorola's website, paying almost fourty bucks for it. And guess what? It holds a charge for TWO WEEKS before needing to be recharged.
Bottom line, you get what you pay for.
