(More customer reviews)When I got my Evo 4G I had already read reviews on CNET and Sprint about it not having good battery life. So I thought about going all out and getting the extended battery also on Amazon that is 3500mAH for close to 60 bucks until I seen this one for a great price. I used the expidited shipping which came in 3 days (Priority USPS mail). Now the battery is fatter than the normal size so it comes with a back cover to accomodate it and I must say it feels more comfortable to hold because it contours a bit rather than it being just flat. Now like many people I had Advanced Task Killer and one of those battery saver apps and at first the battery didnt seem to be any better but I was patient. I remembered that when I had my samsung moment that some Task Killer apps drain your battery and make it hot so I figured out how to force close apps on the phone through the phone's own settings (settings / Applications / manage apps / then click on running then you can force close them) and I figured hey why not just get rid of any task killer and battery boost apps. Once I did that this battery did EXACTLY what I was hoping for! I would take my phone off the charger during the week around 9am and through normal use with the standard battery it would get under 50 around 2pm or so and I'd have to put it on the charger at work. BUT with this battery I can gladly say that with it off the charger at 9am (4G, bluetooth, GPS switched on) with normal (for me) use (texting, checking facebook app, light internet use, about 1/2 - 1hr music, and an occasional call) at work, I wont hit 5(out of ten bars [u can see how many bars under "battery" in the phone's settings]) until around 7 or 8pm which is exactly what I was looking for. I think this battery is a must for such a energy hogging phone.
