The instructions were a bit confusing at first and she thought it didn't work.
We figured out you need to press the little power button three times in succession to get it to begin charging.
Mom has had this for about 5 months and has told me many times that IT WORKS GREAT AND HAS TOTALLY SOLVED HER iPHONE LOW BATTERY PROBLEM.
This is a great product, worth the $$$
