(More customer reviews)A few weeks ago, my OEM HTC Aria battery started to act erratically. Very short battery life, inability to fully charge regardless of time, eventually leading to a complete failure. Luckily, I had figured this out and ordered this replacement battery before the phone went off for good.
I ordered this battery just before the phone stopped powering on. It shipped the same day and arrived the next day. Amazon Prime FTW...
I called the "Droid helpline" for AT&T and was diagnosed with a battery problem (surprise surprise) and they have allegedly shipped (for free) a new OEM battery to me (5-7 business days).. they also informed me that this battery (or any non-OEM battery) would void the phone warranty. It's up to you what to do... I was quoted 60 dollars for a new OEM battery (from AT&T).
The battery is a lot cheaper than an OEM battery. AT&T/HTC? claims this battery isn't made to the same specifications as the OEM battery and will void your warranty. Keep this in mind if that bothers you.
The battery works, it's cheap, and easy/quick to get. I'll give it 4 stars for functionality at this point (2 days of use) minus one star for voiding the warranty .
