Battery life is great if you don't use the phone, but if you're like me and have 7 pages of apps that you like to use periodically through the day, you need the extra life this product offers. I can usually get almost two FULL iPhone charges out of this battery and I'm always surprised at how fast it charges the battery. I would almost say that it charges the iPhone battery faster than plugging my iPhone into the wall.
The only problems I have with this item are that you have to take whatever cover you have on your iPhone off in order to use it (not such a big deal) and, when it's on your phone, the item is pretty bulky. Overall, these aren't huge problems and the benefits of this product FAR outweigh these minor issues. While one reviewer on this site said it gets -3 stars for aesthetics, I disagree. While the pack is kind of bulky, overall I kind of like how the iPhone looks with it on. To each their own, I guess.
Overall, if you constantly find yourself not using your iPhone to its fullest extent because you are worried about the battery dying and you aren't in a situation where you can charge it with the wall adapter or computer, buy this. It's a great product and definitely meets the need.
