But I thought for the price, what do I have to lose, a few dollars?
When the battery arrived I threw it on the charger overnight. Next day popped it in my Hero and off to work.
Battery stayed strong the entire day. Even when making/receiving calls, texting and of course my favorite past time, playing on my android.
So all and all-I think this was a good purchase for me. I have been trading off batteries in my hero. I just make sure that the batteries are pretty much toast before I charge them up. It's great to have a spare, never know when you might need one.
