(More customer reviews)I have been using my Droid Incredible for a few weeks and while the phone is great, the battery life is not. I guess all that computing muscle needs to powered by something. I'm not interested in getting a higher capacity battery for $60 and making the phone much larger and heavier. But I came very close to totally running out of juice on several days. I noticed this battery and the low price ($12.50 delivered) and decided to take a chance.
I loaded it into my phone and charged it up. It fit the phone fine, didn't get hot or show any signs of incompatibility. 36 hours of light use later, its 60% full. It seems at least comparable to the stock battery. I'll update the review if the battery turns out to be exceptional of poor, but for now, its a cheap backup that does its job. (Not sure if it makes a difference, but it came from SellPhoneStop.)
UPDATE: Battery is still working fine, gets the same life as my stock battery. BUT, more importantly, I called Verizon one day to complain about the pre-installed (and impossible to delete) apps that run all the time and make the battery drain issue even worse, and they offered to send me a free extended life (2150mAh) battery. Free. With free FedEx shipping. Granted, its the giant battery and it comes with the different phone back to accommodate its greater girth, but its a $60 battery for free. I guess they've had a lot of complaints, and every call to customer service costs them money.
So, this standard battery is still a good value. But spend 5 minutes calling verizon and you might be able to get a much nicer one for free.
