(More customer reviews)These batteries are awesome. As we all know, the new smartphones on the market suffer from one severe drawback... battery life. Especially if you want to take advantage of Samsung's Hummingbird processor and beautiful S-AMOLED screen. So I picked up these two batteries for my Epic, and I can tell you that these are life-savers.
I used to run my phone with brightness turned down, syncing off, and would only play games if I was near an outlet. Since I've purchased these two extra batteries, I can now play all day on my original battery, and by evening when it starts to die, I can swap one of these two batteries into it. And for really late nights, such as 4 or 5 o'clock, I can throw in the other battery and never have to slow down my phone use.
With these two batteries added to the original battery, I would guess you could watch 5 movies without needing to plug your phone in. I play graphics intensive games, such as Heavy Gunner 3D and ExZeus, and I never worry about battery.
And since you have two, you can easily have one charging while the other is in use. This product is a must have for Epic owners.
THE ONLY CON that I can say about these is that I do not believe they will charge in the phone. I've not tried it, but others say they do not, so I only assume so also. You must charge them on the charger that comes with it, but since there's two, there's no problem here. Use one while charging the other. Easy.
I always swap my original battery in at night so I can have it fully charged, because the batteries don't have quite as much battery life as the original. But don't get me wrong, with these two batteries, you're easily adding 12 hours of heavy use and possibly upwards of 20 hours on light use.
There are others batteries out there, but I chose this one for props on the design aspect, being a graphic designer myself. The Android logo on the back is a nice touch that gives these batteries a bit of character. I'm 100% pleased with this product, especially since I knew that they can not be charged while in the phone. My 3 batteries combined easily give me 20 to 30 hours of battery life now. Let's see those numbers from an iPhone.
