(More customer reviews)I have a Nokia 6162 and after a couple of years the original NiMH battery wasn't holding it's charge well. I held out this long because I was really annoyed that a new battery would cost almost as much as a lot of the cooler new phones around so I was hoping the prices would come down. I bought this battery with a coupon from Amazon and I'm very happy with my purchase. At full price, I'd still be annoyed but probably would've bought the battery anyways because I needed one.
So far it's working fine. It is EXTREMELY light and somewhat slimmer than my original batter which makes carrying my phone around with me much nicer. The only negative so far is that it doesn't seem to last quite as long between charges (based on my general usage level) as my old battery. However, we're still talking about going days between charges so it's not a complaint just an observation.
I'd say if you're looking for a replacement battery that's simple, gets the job done, and will lighten your load a bit, this is a good buy. If the price comes down or you can find a coupon it's an excellent buy.
