(More customer reviews)The OEM battery that came with my Galaxy S (Epic 4G) gave me anywhere from 6-8 hours of charge. As I searched for extended life batteries, I knew I didn't want to add the extra bulk to my phone. Replacement covers that add X amount of thickness to the phone that then make accessories hard to find. Cases, desk top chargers, skins. . .all become hard to come by when you turn your slim phone into a brick.
I took a chance on this battery and have had it a little over a week. The extended life gets me through the waking hours of my day (5:30am - 11pm) on one charge. Granted I don't "live" on my phone or fill it full of power hungry apps. I text moderately, use the browser maybe every other day, and use the calendar to keep me organized. So if you want an extra 4 to 6 hours out of one charge this is an excellent buy!
