(More customer reviews)I am very happy with the Otterbox case. It fits my HD2 perfectly. It features transparent window layer which is solid part of the case and nicely snugs to the glass.
No problem with any functionality when HD is inside the case (pressing buttons, display touch, sound, light sensor etc.) The only cosmetic issue I found is that my microUSB car charger will not fit the door opening. The official shipped HTC cable is narrower and you can charge with it without problem.
To the clip. I have not figure out how to remove it - and if it can be removed, it is not easy. So far it does not bother me at all. What you don't see in pictures is a holster into which the whole unit clips securely. Either with facing the display outside or completely covering it when you place it in reverse. This is best case. I was trying to get some regular Otterbox or Pelican for secure hardcase box but there is nothing that fits HD2 without huge extra space. Drop this one into waterproof bag together with some solar charger and external battery and you are ready to face the elements;)
