Perhaps the root cause of my problem was that I don't possess the musculature necessary to get this to fit - or to remove the phone from the case to try to refit it...
Once the case was on my phone, it was on for good. Unfortuately due to misalignment I couldn't plug the phone into its charger, nor could I snap the case closed. My 230 lb boyfriend couldn't remove it either.
AAAArrrggggghhhh!
