It is weather resistant to a high degree (This WAS my concern, as my PDA is used exclusively outside doing Data collection for the Forest Service). Between the silicone plugging up all major openings, the clear plastic screen, and my Wide Brimmed Hat, I don't fear water in my PDA except for torrential rains and dunking.
Let me say that more clearly.
NOT Waterproof...
BUT very water resistant...
It fits my extra large Mugen Power 4400MAH battery perfectly.
I have three minor gripes:
1.) No external Lanyard loop
2.) No extra plastic screen protectors come with it (Also cant purchase extras, that I've seen)
3.) My USGlobalsat CF slot GPS card doesn't seat fully (minor modifications/grinding can fix this) CF Data cards seat fine.
I actually prefer "The Defender" with this PDA, over my Otterbox 1900 case (with its PDA). Because its much less bulky, and adequately (for my purposes) resistant to the elements.
I'm confident in saying "The Defender" is currently your best option for your IPAQ 210, for use in the outdoors...ON A RELATED NOTE:
The Otterbox1900 fits the IPAQ210..(only tested with Non-extended battery). But not very well. Cant access power button easily, and lose a hairs worth of screen on each side.
