(More customer reviews)The first thing I noticed when I received this product was that the end that connects to your IPod is plastic, not metal which kind of concerns me. My biggest pet peeve of this, and this is not the only Ipod Car Charger that has done it, but it causes a buzzing sound through my stereo when I am charging the Ipod.
I've had this a couple of weeks and so far, I'm just not really positive that it is actually charging my Ipod. I assume it is because when it is plugged in, my Ipod is showing the plugged in icon, but when I unplug it, it appears to not be any more charged then when I started charging it. I tend to think that maybe it not really charging it, but providing it just enough juice to run, though I can't be positive on this. If this were the case, I actually wouldn't have an issue with it if it weren't for the incessant buzzing.Edit: I have taken these on a long trip and my Ipod was actually more charged than when I started, so they are charging. I just tend to do this when the Ipod is off due to the buzzing sound. Bottom Line: They are good in a pinch, but not for everyday use.
