(More customer reviews)I had high hopes for this case, but alas it's unusable. When I put my iPhone 3GS into it it charges for about 10 seconds, then the iPhone tells me the accessory is not compatible with it and the iPhone stops charging. It also kills my signal strength, slowing data transfers dramatically and making voice reception spotty. Will be looking for a refund. I did notice this is not the PhoneSuit branded version (product's website is [...]), rather it seems to be sourced from a Chinese company (product's webisite is [...]). Don't know if that makes any difference.
There is a slight difference in the two in that the the PowerSuit one constantly provides power to the iPhone, its button has the power button sign on it (an open circle with a vertical line) and its only function is to tell you how much battery power is left, whereas this one's button just has a dot on it and the case only starts charging if you push that button. Don't know if it provides a constant stream of power even when the iPhone is fully charge since as I stated earlier I can't get it to charge for longer than 10 seconds or so.
