(More customer reviews)I purchased this dock because HTC hasn't released their official dock and it didn't look like they would anytime soon. This product has a few flaws and I ended up sending it back. First of all it isn't an actual dock. What I mean is you have to put the phone in the stand and then plug a cable up to the phone. The plastic part that holds the phone up holds it vertically. (not what I wanted in a dock.) The plastic part is very tight to get the phone into it. It WILL NOT work with the extended battery (2500mah) or any cases. I have a Zagg invisible shield screen protector on the front of my phone, and it was too tight... without the screen protector it may have scratched the sides of the phone! The little USB cord that is built into the base and plugs into the side of the phone is very stiff and short. It is a hassle to plug that in every time. I wanted a dock I could just set the phone in horizontally and it would charge and/or sync with a computer. The cable that comes with it that goes to the AC adapter is about 3' long, although you could use a mini USB cable of any length if you needed one longer. The power plug end has a red LED, which I didn't mind but some might. The LED for the front of the charger is blue which is awesome. The back LED that indicates charging for the spare battery is green and red. WHEN THERE IS NO BATTERY IN THE SPARE CHARGER IT BLINKS RED AND GREEN ALTERNATELY! I was intending to use this dock on my nightstand next to my bed. The rapid blinking LED made that impossible. Technically this works, the base is nice and heavy. It doesn't have any exceptionally cheap feeling parts, and it didn't damage my phone. It gets two stars for actually working. I have opted instead to just use a bean bag chair stand for phones and just plug a cable in by hand when I want to sync it and charge. At least then you can just sit your phone in the bean bag. I suggest anyone else to do the same until a better dock is released. Or just lay it on your desk. :P
