What's the point of a phone that doesn't stay on?? I received this battery two days ago, and, as suggested, have been fully charging and fully discharging it to "condition" it. I wanted to do this properly, so when my battery said 65% (wow!) last night before bed, I risked waiting overnight for it to get to 5%, and I still didn't need to charge it until sometime today! So ALREADY it has lasted way more than a day.
I did buy the red silicone cover for the whole thing, but I ended up taking it off because I think it looks better without. It's probably good for protecting your phone inside a big purse or just in case you drop it, but let's be honest..the large-screen phone PLUS the extended battery PLUS the silicone case adds up and makes the whole thing feel like a big ole' cell phone from over a decade ago... The silicone case did fit nicely though and is super easy to take on and off (unlike other covers), so if you need one, I'd definitely recommend it. As for the material of the white casing, I was a bit worried that it would be the type of material that attracts finger prints and dirt, etc. but it isn't. It has a smooth, velvety feel, but it doesn't get gross, lol.
Bottom line: if you actually want to USE your new Evo at 5PM at night (and not just look at a dead phone...), this is a great battery, cool case/backing, and has fast shipping to boot! [...]
