But more to the point, when you insert this battery into a U340 phone the screen says "BATTERY NOT SUPPORTED". What this means is that the battery will not charge while it is in the phone, so you need a separate charger to get more than one use out of it (and it doesn't come with much of a charge). If you don't mind swapping batteries all the time, maybe this will work for you, but as soon as I figured this out it went right back to Amazon.
